About us
Founded in 2012, the Barrington Area Tennis Association (BATA) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 tax- exempt organization. BATA is a Community Tennis Association member organization of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Our programs are open to all interested players. Barrington residency is not a requirement to participate.
BATA is managed by a part-time executive director and a volunteer board of directors made up of members of the local community who share a passion for tennis and donate their time to increase awareness of the benefits of playing the game.
